Cambodia have put the former of Thailand PM of Thailand on an adviser seat to the Cambodian government and they will not extradite him to Thailand because of humanitarian reasons. The tension was pretty hot before because of the fighting over the temple land and oil rights but now it will probably be chilly hot.
The Thai government said today that they really did not care really but they will make sure to ask for Thaksin to be returned to Thailand if he ever set his foot in Cambodia even the Cambodian government would ignore such request.
A group of senators have asked the Thai government to step up the tension with the Cambodians but the Thai government just wants to play it cool.
