The Thai government will try to get more tourists to visit Thailand and they are targeting people from Asia and Arab countries.
They want to do the following
Lower the fees on Thai air with 50%
No visa fees
No fees for nation parks
No tax on hotels
No 80 THB per night fee for hotels
Most of these measures will not affect people who already live in Thailand and since most tourists never stay longer then 30 days it will not affect them as well.
The hotel fee will never affect the tourist because the hotel will take the profit in the pocket.
They do not need to take away the fee for the national parks just have the same price for foreigners and Thai people.
