The part from the former PM in Thailand has been dissolved and the people in power can not run for another election in 5 years. The Democratic party of Thailand is now the biggest political party in Thailand. But the Democrat can not be sure of a clear victory yet.
Even if the people behind TRT (Thai Love Thai) part have been dissolved they can still create a new Party with puppets and run the show from behind. As we know the former PM of Thailand Mr Thaksin is not the man who gives up that easily.
The Democrat Party leader urged the military junta to now let lift the ban for political activities so that new parties can be created and current parties can start promoting themselves.
