Thai Internet is not secure

The Bank of Thailand is warning people in Thailand not to use their internet bank account on work or internet cafes.

Some people have been clever enough to install keyword tracker on the computers and since the internet banks in Thailand only is protected by password they are not very secure.

The only thing you have to do is to know the password and then you can transfer the money to another bank abroad or in Thailand.

The BOF did not mention what had this bad security but from what we seen all the Thai banks have the same lousy security

Bottom line, do not use internets bank if you can not afford to buy your own computer.

Internet security is always at risk, especially if you are not using your own computers when doing something or encoding something or even logging into something very personal. Like the issue laid above, I agree with what has been said that if you can’t afford to buy your own computers, refrain from using Internet banks.
