If you planning to go abroad and have a 1 years visa in Thailand you can no longer do it in the airport. The airport immigration office has closed but I guess when you reach that far you do not want to go back to Bangkok.
So take it from me if you need a re entry permit you need to get it a day or so before and do it in an immigration office the Bangkok airport office is closed for this.
