MICT Thailand censures big international websites

How much privacy do you really have when you surf the internet in Thailand? After some website we checked went very slow we decided to check Yahoo, CNN, Facebook, YouTube and few other sites and all have the same thing you can see on the bottom of this video below.

MICT is inside your internet browser basically and can see whatever information you sending. So if you are uploading some holiday pictures on the YouTube and using your Gmail account as long in the chance is that the Thai government now knows your password as well.

The Thai governments are apparently tying to stop people or pirates from downloading CD and DVD covers in an effort to stop piracy in Thailand.

The question is how much privacy do you want to sacrifice to stop piracy?

How many more websites will the Thai government sneak into instead of just blocking?

See the video below in the left corner but the video is not complete but it we did not want to make a bigger video.

This is bad the government can have access to your personal accounts this is against the rights of the user if they want to stop piracy they should just block the sites

Your tag for this article does not work in my browsers.
I have rewritten it as:-
http://onwardoverland.com/temp/thailand.html
which does work.
The definition of the movie is too low
to enable me to read the bottom left hand corner.
I also downloaded a cd cover from cdcover.cc
in Pattaya without problem.
I am as paranoid as you are.
I think that they may have been watching you
but this time not me.

I checked many website but only the big one was MICT in Volo for example did not have any. Yes i can also download covers now with no MICT inside the browser. I saw that Thai visa admin also reported something similar a few weeks ago.
