Is the coup the only way out in Thailand?

Gen Chavalit the ex deputy of Thailand that ordered the deadly clash between police and the PAD demonstrations thing the military should step in and then leave. As the political turmoil just drag on and Thai people have almost given up something drastic need to be done to end the dead lock. The King of Thailand has put himself neutral and government has only one agenda and that is to bring back ex PM Thaksin.

Not many people in power are thinking about the normal people in Thailand that want stability in the country.
I do not know if the military should step in maybe that will make things worse and maybe some fraction of the military start fighting over power what will then happen?

I think the men in power need to look at themselves deep inside and ask if they really doing this for Thailand or their own good.
