How to get to Phi Phi Island
The tourists can travel to Phi Phi Island from either Phuket or Krabi. There are 2 boat trips from the pier of the main land to the island at 10am and 2:30pm. Check the time of the boat carefully, otherwise you will miss it and have to wait for another day, that’s not really fun thing to do anyway “waiting”. It takes around 2 and half hour from the main land to the island.
But if you come from Bangkok, there is a variety of transport. You can catch the train, plane or bus to Phuket or Krabi. Travel to Krabi is simple and convenient, just plan your trip in advance and check the price of transportation first, so you know you don’t get tricked for the unfair price. Remember that you are an easy target because you are a tourist from outside Thailand and they will target you for more money as you know in other word of ‘tourist trap’.
