About two weeks ago a plane skidded of the run way and then back on to it. The plane was damage and repaired for a few days the run way was also closed for 1 hour to clean up. The reason why the Bangkok Post reporter can not tell the date is that the pilot flying the plane from Phuket to Bangkok never reported the incident to anyone. The accident has been a secret to not damage the reputation of the nation carrier Thai Air.
When report called to the Thai Air president to ask if the accident ever happen he simple flat denied it in normal Thai manner. There is several people that have reported that the accident actully took place and I am sure some of the passengers will step forward as well.
