Every Sunday in the Bangkok post you can read about the Thai daras (stars). It is off course a shorter a version of what’s really going on and thank good for that. In Thailand you show your face in some TV soap opera and then suddenly you have a manger and you will get paid to show up on parties.
I can tell you that some of these people are going to maybe 50 different events a week and get paid for some of them.
They are really not real super stars but Thai media hype them up in a very crazy way and they just jump on it. It’s really funny and sad to see how they are using (read abusing) the Thai legal system for their silly fights.
They are suing each other for 50 million here and 100 million there for something somebody said or could have said maybe.
If they are real lucky they can come to live TV and cry out and beg for mercy at someone feet, that’s quality TV ladies and gents.

The local authorities in Pattaya have now declared that over 50 people have swine flue in Pattaya. The private school has been closed for a week instead of the tree days.
Most of the new cases come from the nightclub friends and people they meet.
Our guess is that the Thai government now have lost the control of the flue and it will spread with rapid speed in Pattaya and then to the rest of Thailand.
The Thai government has also sent health official to investigate how many people actually have swine flue in Phuket since the local doctor say nobody has swine flue.
The World Health Organization has upgraded its warning to max because there is no stopping of the flue anymore.
The swine flue is not as deadly as the bird flue but is easier to spread.

Swine flue in Phuket
Hong Kong doctors blame Phuket in south Thailand to have given a Hong Kong man swine flu. The Thai doctors say he did not get it in Phuket and say he might get it in Hong Kong and did not know show symptoms in Thailand.
The Thai doctor say that Phuket is totally swine flu free and it should be since the ASEAN meeting is coming to Phuket soon.
The only thing that is confirmed is that the Hong Kong man has swine flue and he has been both in Phuket and Hong Kong, have you?

Do some people want the swine flue to come to Thailand? The Thai newspapers are going crazy about it and the Thai Visa forum has 9 new sections about just about swine flue.
I have not met any Mexican person on vacation in Thailand and I do not think I never will. I met some people from USA off course but the country to look out for is Mexico.
Sure if the local pigs starting to give us the flue Thailand better watch out but now its on the other side of the world.
I do not think we should blow too much in the horn it will just make people scared and think Thailand already have swine flue.
