Travel warning for Phrae

Trans and car traffic in North Thailand are having problem after flash rain swept part of the rail way away. It also swept some houses and school material away. Phrae was hit hard in 2006 and it was declared a disaster zoon. It is not that bad now but tourists are warned not to travel there just now. The local government has enough problems taking care of the locals.

Travel warning for Thai Cambodian border

Cambodia and Thailand is now firing at each other along the border. After a long stand off the troops suddenly start firing and sending rockets.

Reuters, the Thai government and the Cambodian government have confirmed this but they have not said who started the shooting.

The Thai government has told Thai people to run for the border and to be careful in Cambodia if this escalates.

Do not travel to the border area and visit the temple there right now it is not safe for tourists.

Travel warning for south Thai airports

The PAD in south Thailand threatening to close airports again and the five airports are Hat Yai, Krabi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani and Phuket. They told the press that they will start blocking the airports on Saturday when the new PM trying to visit his home town. The PAD wants him to back to Bangkok since they think he is a proxy for his brother in law Mr Thaksin the former ousted PM of Thailand.

Travel warning for Kho Chang

The floods in Thailand has not stopped and are getting worse. During the weekend the road to North Thailand was so flooded that the traffic was stopped. In the central parts of Thailand the government have warned people that the flooding might come there soon.

Even in the popular resort of Kho Chang was flooded and tourists are running for higher ground.
All the Island in south Thailand are known to be flooded a few weeks during this time of year because the threes on the hills that should swallow the rain water has been cut down.
