Thai Police have discovered 17 bombs Hat Yai

The Thai Police have discovered 17 bombs in the Southern town of Hat Yai one of the biggest towns in South Thailand. The Police bomb unit managed to diffuse all of the bombs before anyone triggered. If the bombs had gone off it would had created big havoc in the center of Hat Yai. The tourists are already advised from there Embassy to stay away from the area and the Tourism industries are already on their knees.

I would not fly with One-Two-Go in Thailand

The same air line had another incident just one week after it was a plane it was the flight from Bangkok to Hat Yai yesterday had a minor crash landing, but the pilot managed to control the aircraft. Some passages got minor scratches
If I was an air traveler right now I would NOT fly with One-Two-Go until they shape up. My life is not worth to be risked for a few extra saved THB.

The Government is looking after the Safety at Phuket Airport and maybe is planning is to build a bigger hospital closer to the airport since the only one close to the airport can not take care of this kind of injuries.

They will also get better fire fighting equipment and upgrade its safety lets see if its just words as usual or if something really gets done. As you saw on the video on this blog from the crash the plane was burning 1 after the crash.

147 Thai insurgents in Military custody

The military in the south are stepping up its efforts to make them look more human in the eyes of the Muslim population in south Thailand. The Thai military currently holds over 145 insurgent’s suspects in two different locations.

The Thai military promises to let the families and friends see the suspects and to treat them fair according to Thai law and give them human rights.

11 soldiers and 5 Muslims killed in South Thailand

After the bloody attack on the city of Yala in South Thailand 11 soldiers were killed when a bomb exploded under there truck. The once that did not die in the blast was shoot in the head by the Muslim insurgents. You might think that the government and military should find a safer way to transport soldiers since this is the most common way the soldiers die.

Also 5 Muslims were killed when praying in a mosque all were young around 20 years old.

Over 2200 people have been killed since 2004 and the government have deployed over 30 000 troops with more to come to try to stop the attacks.
