Israelies get caught of selling drugs in Thailand

Two Israelis Alan Macloff and Vladimir Acronik have been arrested on Khaosan Road in Bangkok Thailand. They have been charged with selling drugs namely 23 000 ecstasy tablets.

There is not much denying it since they had the 23 000 tablets when they got caught. A large numbers of other Israeli’s was also arrested but they have been released posting bail or just dismissed from the case.

Khaosan Road is a favorite hang out place for Israelis back packagers and tourists.

The Thai police was tipped of by the Americans (yes the CIA, DEA and other agencies are very active in Thailand).

Where to find cheap medicines in Thailand

When we go to the hospital, besides from the doctor fee and hospital fee, the fee which costs you most on the bill is the medicine fee. Most of the hospitals get the profit from the medicine which the doctors give to the patients.

The medicine fee costs a lot of money because it is the most important thing that every patient needs, so they can’t say deny for it and have to pay no matter how much it shows on the bill. What’s more, the patients hardly know the real price of the medicine.

But from my own experience, the medicine fee at the hospital costs triple than the price they sell on the market. Once I went to the hospital, the pharmacist at the hospital was so nice. He asked me to go buy the medicine at the victory monument instead of buying at the hospital because it’s a lot cheaper. He wrote me down the name of the medicine. I thanked him and then I went to the victory monument, opposite from Rajvitee hospital to buy medicine.

The price was really shocked me, it was about triple time cheaper than the price at the hospital and I can save a lot of money even I took a taxi to the victory monument to bought the medicine and took the taxi again to get home, I can save a lot of money still.

So this is my suggestion that if you go to the hospital, any hospital, the only things you need to pay are doctor fees and hospital fees. And those are all. Those fees will not cost you more than 1,500 Baht even at the private hospitals. And then you asked the doctor for the name of the medicine he or she wants to give you, write it down on the paper and go buy at the pharmacy at the victory monument instead.

Now you don’t have to be afraid going to the hospital anymore. You can save a lot of money and don’t have to pay your money for expensive medicine while you can buy the cheaper ones.

Just so you know, it doesn’t mean that every pharmacy outside hospital sells the medicine cheaper than the medicine in the hospital because some of them sell more expensive than the hospital. But just want to ensure you that if you really need cheap medicine (of course, it’s real medicine), you should go buy it at the victory monument.

Quality of Thailand’s airport

If you sometimes wonder why the airport in Thailand is never maintained in a good manner and why it is always some problem we can not tell you the reason.

Many of the members of the AOT board refuse to resign and step down. They get a nice salary and privilege from being in the board and don’t want to let go.

It is also the same reason why Thailand flagship carrier that is actually is state owned make losses very year. The company has been driven by the same people all the time and they always put the friends or family in the board when they resign. They don’t care if they qualified or not.
