The All Shirt Rally In Bangkok

The All Shirt Rally In Bangkok

No color

The Red Shirts have taken off the shirts and put on other colored shirts to make it harder for the police and army to catch them when they leave or enter the protest site. With no color on the shirts the protesters can hardly be arrested and it will make it more difficult for the army to crack down on them.

Swine Flue

Some of the Red Shirts have gotten swine flu inside the camp near world trade and they are treated at the police hospital of all places nearby.

No TV

Someone has distributed the signal of the state TV when the Thai PM was supposed to speak. He made a tape recording and before it broadcasted, everything went black for a few minutes. I think most of the people in Thailand thought that a coup was eminent.

Flip Flopping on crack down

The Army changes their views back and forward during the week regarding the eminent crack down. For now, it looks like they are supporting a crackdown.

Time is running out

The Red Shirts do not have manpower enough to march out again, most of the reds are tired and if they leave their camp the army can close it. Nevertheless, if they not push hard enough the Thai government might just let them stay there until they leave or get so few they cannot fight back. If the rain season comes soon the rest of the Red Shirts will probably leave. The governments on the other hand need to make the Red Shirts leave so they not look like total fools.

No Luxury bag is worth dying for

The Reds have closed down one of the most visited mall in Bangkok and people have stopped from buying luxury goods. However, the same Reds could never afford any of these bags. So will the Thai government and army want to kill people so that people can buy more luxury goods? The Reds will just come back in a few weeks or month and start all over.

No money worth dying for

I know you all heard that people paid to join the Red Shirts movement and I can reveal to you Thailand big secret that most people pay people from all camps not only Red Shirts get money to vote or demonstrate. However, the hard-core reds that are left now ready to die do not do it for the money.

We cannot guarantee that this is all the hotels but if you search on a map in Google you will see proximity we are talking about. These are also the areas:
Silom, Pratunam, Siam Square, Central World, Sala Daeng, Chit Lom.
We think hotels above Patpong Market on Silom and future then Sala Daeng in the opposite direction should be safe to stay for now.
Please do not visit any of these places for now but the old town near the Grand Palace is safe for now.

We want to stress out that we feel sorry for the hotels but we must think about the safety of our readers. If any hotel feels that, they can provide enough security for their hotels guest they are welcome to contact us and we will take them off the list.

Deadly bombs hit heart of Bangkok

Foreigners among the injured in the deadly blast that hit the BTS station at Sala Deng at Silom district yesterday evening. People had come to protesters against the Red Shirts further downtown in Bangkok when suddenly two grenades hit the BTS station injuring and killing people waiting for the train to come to the station.
At first, the police pointed fingers at the Red Shirts camp but later arrested people that had been outside Robinson department store near the BTS station. It is not clear at this moment what camp the bombers swear allegiance. The Police went down to the Red Shirt camp in the morning and ask them one more time to leave but they refused.

Some Yellow Shirt guards and kind of security force last night joined the protesters in Silom for the Yellow Shirts or PAD. They are the total opposite of the Red Shirts and want the power to belong to the people in Bangkok and to the elite that ruled Thailand for a long time now. Last time they demonstrated they blocked the airport for several days.

The Nation has today said that Thailand is going into a state of anarchy and chaos and I can agree on that. The Police did nothing to stop the protesters last night that provoke the redshirts. The Police or Army need to step in and stop any people that trying to create unrest in Thailand not only the Red Shirts.
The video below is from the BTS station and it shows some foreigners and Thai people injured and they getting first aid by soldiers from the Thai Army.

Is Thaksin wanted by Thailand?

Where will Mr Thaksin go?

According to Swedish press the Swedish government did not kick out the former PM of Thailand. The Swedish spokesman said that Thailand had not requested anything in writing so therefore the Swedish government could not take any decision about the issue. However Thaksin is not on any wanted list and is free to go to Sweden when he wants to as long as he does not provoke terrorism.

UAE on the other hand will neither confirm nor deny if Thaksin is banned from the country or not. Nobody knows the officials stands of the country because Thaksin is saying one thing and the Thai government is saying something different while UEA is keeping quiet.

Cambodia will off course for the time being never deny Thaksin access to the country and he gets a VIP treatment when he comes there. Croatia also has no problems with Thaksin and some other countries in South America.

It is strange that Germany said that Thaksin will be arrested since Sweden does not accept this formal charge.

I have not seen any official arrest warrant from Interpol that Thaksin is on the most wanted list and if he was Sweden would for sure arrest him.

In the mean time Thaksin keeps sending twitters from Russia and other countries stating different countries all the time and it looks like the Thai government is always few steps behind.

But maybe that is the plan because if Thaksin was to be arrested in Thailand I think all hell would break out in Thailand. The Government is waiting for the election next year and if they win the Reds Shirts and Thaksin have no right to complain anymore and if they lose Yellow Shirts will always save the day.
