A Thai prosecutor says they want to arrest the former PM of Thailand if he wants to come back. Since the PPP claimed victory in the Thai election the former PM of Thailand have announced that he might want to come back to valentine day. His lawyer says that if he got arrested he things that the court will put bail and release his client.

The PPP party wants to give amnesty to all TRT members and want the former regime to come back and rule as before.

The military have told the press that they are staying out of politics this time but you never know what’s going to happen. More then one fortune teller has predicted that the new government will fall sooner then the last one.

It’s going to be a very Christmas in Thailand after all. No I am not joking there will be no alcohol serving from the 14 of December 2007.

The law is to stop prevoters to be pushed to vote for a party when they are drunk or when they are given alcohol as a bribe.

It is very common to bribe people in North Thailand during the election but the military is carefully watching all money transactions.
The answer is to give Viagra, telephone cards and alcohol instead, that’s why the new law came into place. The law is same for tourist no alcohol is allowed to be served nationwide between Friday 14th at 6pm until Sunday 16th at midnight.

Elections on the 23rd will mean no alcohol will be sold from 6pm on the 22nd till midnight on the 23rd of December.

How this will affect tourism is anybody’s guess but I guess some people will be angry when they want to have a drink by the pool bar.

Big hotels maybe not affected but please check with your favorite bar and disco what they are saying.

The PPP or longer version The People Power Party A.K.A the party with only one goal and that is to put the former PM Back and reinstall the TRT short for Thai love Thai party has broken the law.

PPP made some secret documents public when they realized that the military junta was targeting them according to this documents.

CNS or long version Council for National Security is working with EC short for Election commission to see if the PPP have broken any election laws by doing this.

If the CNS found PPP guilty the EC could dissolve PPP and they like the Supreme court did with TRT.

According to the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter Thailand military government is to buy the Swedish fighter Plane JAS Gripen.

The deal is really old since the former PM tried to buy JAS as well from Sweden but wanted to barter with chickens. The Swedish government declined the offer and it looks like that was the best bet.

There is some NGO in Sweden that are not that happy with the sale off course since Thailand is now run by a military government. Even if the deal is sure anything can happen when the new government comes to power after the 23 December this year.
