PAD on the march as Thaksin lands in Cambodia

One thing you can say about Thaksin is that he knows how to play on people’s feelings. After been appointed to economic adviser to the Khmer government he made some remarks regarding the people around the King Of Thailand. He later took those remarks back but the damage was already done.

The PAD (yellow shirts and airport occupiers) will now stage a protest until Sunday, and nothing good can lead to that. They want to escalate things with Cambodia since the Khmer government won’t give up Thaksin.

If it was stability the Thai government wanted they can forget about that now, the PAD is running in the next election and the Red Shirts are calling for an election now.
This thing could if people not careful escalate to a bloody mess stretching over the high season and beyond.

The coup made Thais happy or not

The coup made Thais happy or not

Thaksin is saying the coup made Thais unhappy and the generals says the coup made Thais happy.

I am sorry but I think Thaksin is right, not because he is right but because the Thai people I spoken to feels like they are in some kind of queue.

When the politicians are talking everyday about a new coup and when Thailand is in some kind of vacuum then Thai people are unhappy.

The Thais just want to move on with their lives and make money as usual not to care about another coup or new government.

Everybody knows that if another election comes the Yellow shirts will protest if the Red shirt win and vice verse.

Thailand needs to become a real democracy with fair elections and proper democratic laws and that includes human rights and press freedom as well.

Sondhi the Thai bullet dodger

Sondhi the leader of the PAD in Thailand did survived the 100 bullets so maybe now they need to call him Sondhi the bullet dodger.

Some news paper starting so speculate if he really dodged the bullets or it all was a big set up to push the crack down on the red shirts even harder. How did he survive in normal car? Some say it was because the body guard that traveled in the second car came and start fire at the attackers. So maybe the spray of bullets was not well places.

They have several radio stations shut down and also other media has been closed that supports the red shirts.

But here comes the problem, the red shirts also votes for a party that are in opposition with the Thai democrats. Will that party regain control over its own media once a new election is getting close or is this a clean up to close them down for good?
