Bill Clinton in Thailand not proper briefed & Tsunami warning system in Place

Former U.S president Bill Clinton visited a Sea Gypsy village in Thailand today. He was concerned that most of the people living there were still living in temporary shelters. But he praised the Thai Sea Gypsies to trying to conserve there way of live. Maybe someone should have briefed him that the Thai government has tried to move the Sea Gypsy by force to higher ground away from the beach since the Tsunami 2004. The last controversy was only last week and we guess that was because Bill Clinton was arriving the Thai officials wanted to show there new village for the envoy.

In a related story the ambassador for U.S in Thailand was with Bill Clinton today and inspected the first Tsunami warning device to be set out. It will be fully in place within a month.

Thai Sanitary napkins interferes with Dutch lilies

A foul smell from the Toilets in Royal Flora Expo in Chang Mai have created big problem for the organizers. They say that the visitors lack proper toilet manners and flush sanitary napkins and other not meant to flush down items down the portable toilets. The staff have been ordered to dig in deep to sort out the daily problem of the disturbing smell that sometimes can be noticed 50 meters away. One visitor said that she could not find the toilets sign but finally the bad smell led her and family to them. Another visitors said that the smell interfered with the smell coming from the Dutch garden.

Other problems they Expo has been facing is that people do not use the toilets at all but rather use the flowers as a toilet. People also have been known for taking rare and expensive flowers away from the Expo.

The farmers around the Expo are moaning that the government is taking to much water from them so they want more money because they can not make a second crop of rice.

One bright spot in all the darkness is that the Prince of the Kingdom of Bhutan is coming the 24 November and tickets have been selling like hot cakes for just that day.

Do not feed the elephant they will talk bad about you

I am sure you have not missed the 16 year old elephant in Korea that learned to copy sounds from his trainer. I saw the news on CNN and the elephant was so cute coping the sounds of his trainer.
” The pachyderm produces humanlike sounds by putting his trunk in his mouth and shaking it while exhaling _ similar to how people whistle with their fingers.”
In the nighttime they have a infra red cam on an you can see the elephant talking to him self so dam cute :)
This reminds me that for the elephant to do this he must be pretty dam smart, to think of away to copy sound he normal can not say. Normally they talk in much lower voice that humans can not hear.
Now to come back to Thailand i want you tell you, beg you, demand you and plead to you please do not  feed elephants when you come as a tourist here.
More then often you see Baby elephant walking around in the middle of the city in Bangkok. Most of the time you can see them near the tourist areas like Patpong, Kosan Road or Nana. Along with the elephant is 2-4 people asking everyone to buy food for the elephant and you can pet the elephant or feed them.
The elephant should not be in Bangkok walking the streets you can see that there skin is bad the feet are hurting and there eyes are crying (i know i know but it looks like it). You can see its not a happy elephant at all. Furthermore it create traffic yams and once in a while some one run in to them and the they have to kill the it.
In the daytime the elephants live under the highway in the outskirts of Bangkok in a small place with some grass and a dirty pond.
By stop feeding the animals you can also help counter corrupting since this people dragging the elephants here have to pay money to the police to take them here.
So spread the word if we all stop feeding them and buying food from them they will not come anymore.
