Sweeter then herpes in Thailand

Sweeter then herpes in Thailand

I got a mouth wound or what you call it last week and off course I blamed my girl at that moment for giving me herpes.

She took a look and said I got something that you get from eating to much sweet food.

But I do not eat sweets I replied and she just smiled and pointed at the table and my 2 kilo of Rambutan fruit I just ate.

That’s sweet baby very sweet and you eat maybe 1 kilo every day and that’s why you have this problem. When its hot and you eat to much sweet food you get this.

If you are sweet as me then you need to buy cream with a hippo outside and put on when you sleep.

What can I say?

How to open a Pomelo

Pomelo is one of my favorite fruits in Thailand and it was actually my favorite fruit before I moved here but then I only had it once a year. Pomelo “SomO” as is called In Thailand sell for about 50 THB all year around in the supermarkets. I always buy the already open one in plastic wrap and when you do that make sure its “hard” and not soft. If its hard its probably old and taste bad.

Thais like the Pomelo in room because its get sweater but western people tend to like it cold.
But if you want to preserve it the best way is to keep it cold.

How to eat bananas in Thailand

There are basically 2 different kinds of bananas that are sold in Thailand. It’s the small domestic one and the curved normal banana. You can buy them on the street, markets and off course in the shopping malls. Most big markets sell them for around 25-60 THB for a bunch of 15 bananas and the shopping mall price is never less then 50 THB. If you buy the bananas yellow you need to be sure that you are going to eat them within a day or two because they age very quickly. If you buy the green once it can take few days for them to get yellow and they will get to old to quick.

So if your household is only one person go for the smaller package around 20 THB for 5 bananas. The smaller bananas go for around 30 THB for 20 of them and they have the same problem but not same good taste.
