An adviser to the education minister named Yuranand Pamorn-montri, want the schools to change the time when they sign the Nation anthem and raise the flags. It has come to his attention that some schools to avoid traffic jams raise the flag at 08.30 or 08.15 but he wants it to be 08.00 strict.

I would like to say to Yuranand Pamorn-montri, make sure all children can go to school first, make sure every children have food to eat and really make sure the teacher can be safe in south Thailand before you ask something like that.

I am sure he will crack down on all schools that do raise the flag in time but will he crack down on the parliament when the governments not come at 08.00 to serve the country?

Have you heard about x-ray technician job in Thailand? Of course, you might not think about it but when we go to the hospital and we need to do x ray our body, who will help us doing that? And that person who helps us doing x ray job is x ray technician.

You may already know about it, but the purpose of mine to writing this blog is to suggest you the great opportunity to be able to be the xray technician in the future by applying for the xray technician training course. Nine Thai students from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce won the third rank in World Robocup Rescue 2007 at Atlanta City, United States of America. There were 30 student teams from many different countries such as Japan, Germany, USA(the host), Iran, Australia and others in this competition.

For the Nine Thai students who got third rank in this competition, their team’s name is CEO Mission 2 with another three support professors of engineer faculty of the university.

The students said the robot took them 3 - 4 months to finish it, They got involved in every part of this project since the Electronic part, Part-designing and Robot controlling Program.

After their achievement from this competition, they don’t stop their improvement by developing to conduct the robot with bomb x-ray machine and install high-pressure gun to destroy the bomb from far distance. They claimed after they finish these two projects, they will offer them to the air army in order to be a part to help solving the violence problem at three southern provinces in Thailand.

According to the statistic, Thai people read books only 5 lines per a year in average. That’s a shocked statistic. It doesn’t mean Thai people can’t read because nowadays, there is only 4% of Thai people can not read but 96% left are be able to read but they just don’t want to read. So we can say there are about 2,400,000 Thais who can not read while there are about 57,600,000 Thais can read.

Anyhow, it’s a shocked statistic. But there are some people who love to read books including me. Even the number of book readers are not as much as the number of Coffee-drinkers, Song-listeners, Alcoholics or even Smokers. But most of Thais coffee drinkers also like to read books while they are drinking too, so we can say Coffee drinkers are the book readers as well.

As Mark Twain, the American author said “One who doesn’t like to read books doesn’t have any more benefit than one who is unable to read at all. I totally agree with what he said.

Reading should be the habit for everyone because it broaden your vision and make you more clever, also if you don’t want to have alzheimer’s when you’re getting older, you should start reading books since today.
