The Ping Pong I Village Bank consists of forty-one members.
Mrs. Yin Sao is the Village Bank president. She is 49 years old and is a subsistence farmer who cultivates the field next to the village. She is the mother of three children. One works in a garment factory, another is working on the field with his parents, and the youngest is enrolled in state school.
The family sometimes hires workers to work on their rice plantation, especially to plow, since they do not have enough draft animals. Last year, Mrs. Yin Sao obtained a loan from Acleda Bank to hire a worker to plow the rice field, but insects destroyed her rice. Now, the monsoon season is coming soon, so it is time to cultivate rice, but Mrs. Yin Sao does not have enough money to hire a worker.
Therefore, she is requesting a loan to hire a worker who has a draft animal to plow the rice field, and to buy insecticides to avoid last year’s problems.
