The Thai government is trying to make sure the same deadly bush fire that still going on in Australia will not happen in Thailand as well.
Even if the government has gone out with a big fire warning there is still people that every day burning the rice fields and the garbage outside. Some even set forest on fire to try to clear more land for crops. The police seldom do anything about it and that is also a big part of the problem.
Thailand is on the high risk since we have so dry weather from November until April and last year it was a big fire in North Thailand but few people died.
If you see a bush fire please notify the police or fire department in your area.
