A girl from Australia was raped by a Somchai Duanglai, 26, a native of Sakon Nakhon.
He raped the girl on Wednesday under knife point and then took her mobile phone and money.

But Somchai is not the smartest of thief’s he has been arrested before and this time he was not smarted. He used the mobile phone from the raped girls and called people.

The police did a trace of the phone and soon found the rapist with the phone and some other belonging of the girl.
Somchai confessed he stole the mobile phone and other things but deny rape but DNA samples showed that he did.

If you’re living or planning to move to stay in Pattaya and also need to use Internet for your work or any other reasons, I suggest you to have UPS as well. Because every time it’s rain, the electricity always went out or power break. These problems can ruin the information you are doing on it during that time and UPS can help you with that. My suggestion is to buy a motorbike. You fill the gas about 100 baht and you can ride it around Pattaya for several time instead of paying the taxi 200 baht for each time you go. The process to buy the motorbike is also simple, you just go to the shop and then choose the motorbike you like and give them the house registration and ID card for Thai people and Passport for the foreigners.

After this buying process, you will get the motorbike immediately. Just in case, if you’re afraid that your motorbike will be stolen, they have the car loss insurance for you as well. If your motorbike would have been lost in the first year, the insurance will pay you 80% from the actual price and if your motorbike would have been lost in second year, they will pay you 60% from the actual price. I do this two years car loss insurance and I paid only 2,500 Baht. It’s save your money more than taking the bus especially for someone who is likely to stay at Pattaya at least a year.

Sometimes the people that work for governments in Thailand does not really know what they are saying. They should hire a PR firm and do not speak until they talked with them. Many of them have no education in marketing but is voted or elected because they have many friends or lots of money.

This week’s blunder comes from Choochart Suwannakom, commander of the national Tourist Police when he said that “that some of the attacks were occasioned by the behavior of the women themselves” and another master quote “They tend to choose a quiet spot away from other people, take off the bikini and sunbathe. That’s when the attackers strike.”
