Help the tigers on the Tiger day tomorrow

A Thailand tiger has almost vanished and they need to bee rescued now. Before this website supported the Tiger Temple in Thailand with our website walking with Tigers that donated money to the Tiger Temple in Thailand I am not sure now if that was the right thing to do.

The temple does not want to let the tigers go and just breeding them to show for tourists and when I read this advice how to deal with tigers I get very depressed.

If you want to help the tigers there are many things you can do like

Support the website Walking with tigers we support the tigers call for freedom not the temple we make sure our money goes to the tigers no to the temple.

Spreading the word and raising awareness is an important part of efforts to protect wild tigers. Many consumers are inadvertently contributing to the problem. Make sure everyone around you knows that products made from poached tigers are not cool!

Don’t keep tigers as pets

Owning a tiger as a pet is not a good way to care for the species. Holding a tiger captive as a pet deprives the animal of its natural hunting and survival skills. No matter how big your garden, it will feel like a matchbox to a fully grown tiger born to roam a wide range.

Donate to a cause that tackles the tiger trade

You can support the species further and feel connected to these magnificent big cats by taking responsibility for a tiger in the wild. Donating to wildlife protection groups will help support rangers that patrol national parks, species monitoring and care, as well as efforts to reduce illegal trafficking and trade.

Report wildlife crimes

Report anyone transporting or selling tiger skins and tiger bones to the authorities: Call 1362 for the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation; call 1136 for the Natural Resources and Environmental Crime Division of the Thai Police; or call 02-204-2719 for the PeunPa Foundation. English/Thai speakers are available to forward important information to the relevant authorities.

Take action now!

Donate to the PeunPa Foundation to directly help efforts to protect tigers and stop the illegal wildlife trade in Thailand and Southeast Asia. By becoming a Tiger Conservation Friend with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation’s Save The Tiger Fund, you can voice your support for tiger conservation _ sign-up online at www.savethetigerfund.org/.
Participate in the Wildlife Alliance’s Sponsor-an-Animal programme to support Araeng, a tiger being cared for at the Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre in Cambodia (www.wildlife alliance.org/donate/sponsor-an-animal).

Go away from Thailand to Europe during Christmas

If you like to celebrate the Christmas and New Year some where colder then in Thailand then we suggest you take a look to Europe. Maybe some of London’s hotels in your taste and you can celebrate New Year with happy Englishmen in a bar,

Do you think that Holland always have fascinated you then you should try one of Amsterdam’s many hotels to very good prices and visit one of Amsterdam’s many cultures treasures.

If you not like the really cold weather but want but milder temperatures then we suggest you head for Rome and visit one of the many churches that get so beautiful during the Christmas time. You can also spoil yourself with the real Italian food that you used to taste in Thailand.

Did you know they sell iPod and Nokia copies in Thailand

Did you know they sell iPod and Nokia copies in Thailand

I know that they copy many things in Thailand but I never thought I would see a copy of a iPod for 1200 THB. They are made in Taiwan but for all I know they could be made in China with a label from Taiwan.
My friend came to visit me from Italy and he wanted to buy some copy iPod and I said I never seen it but he said he sure you could buy them here. We went to look and I saw the shop but I thought they were real once.
They also sold Nokia phone but made in China and with a different menu inside but the rest was 100 % the same, o well maybe not the quality.
Amazing Thailand

Government in Burma has managed to kill a Japanese journalist

The government in Burma has managed to kill a Japanese journalist. Him and 8 others was mentioned on the state television last night. They also said many soldiers were injured in the clashes that just seem to get stronger. The military also raided and beat up monks when they were sleeping and that’s nothing that the Burmese people will take lightly.

There is also some speculation that some soldiers have turned and wanted to join the monks but this not confirmed yet. The “revolution” looks like it has gone out of control with no real leader and the military government locked up in its new city 10 hours away from Rangoon with no touch of reality for real people.
