When staying in Thailand for a long time you might want to go to other places around Asia. People travel very often to Bali or Hong Kong for a quick holiday away from Bangkok hustle and bustle. But how safe is your travel from Bangkok?

When you live abroad you depend on the government to make sure your airline is safe but in Thailand the government here would not ban the Indonesian Airline like EU has done.
So for example you could not fly to Bali from EU with a Indonesian airline but you could fly from Bangkok.

If you living in Thailand you should check the airlines that are banned by EU before you fly and BBC UK have done a nice list of all airlines that are banned including all Indonesian Airlines

Always when I was living in Europecheap holidays in Kefalonia and Majorca was the travel destination for your Vacation. They even made a song about Kefalonia because all the young kids would go there for summer vacation. But then you could not book online as you can now and you do not have this information on website as you have now. You had to read catalogs and order by phone. It looks like the hotel and restaurant business is not as good as many hoped in Phuket. In the aftermath of the Tsunami many farang have tried and even got away with robbing banks in and around Phuket. Just yesterday a farang robbed a bank in Karon, Phuket, Thailand and got away with 420 000 THB in cash. The police believes that the rise of the number of foreigners robbing banks in Thailand is because the business is very slow and they lost a lot of money in the Tsunami. The Phuket Police have searched all the motorbike rental and guesthouse without finding the robber making them believe he was a local.

I have to go to Singapore next month because my visa runs out and I need to stay there for a few days and i always like some airline travel I been there before but I like to explore more of the city. I know I have not been to all the attractions yet thats for sure Singapore has so much to offer. I have not been to the Arabic district and not the Chinese once as well. I saw a movie last month about the red light district I did not even know they had one I really want to check it where they made the movie.

I saw today in the magazine in Thailand has a special offer for the trip to Singapore but it is only one way and you can never be sure that the round trip will be cheaper then you book a package with hotel and everything. Last time I was in Singapore I booked the entire trip online and that was with hotel and transfer to the hotel as well and I think that was good choice. The only thing I did not like was that the cable TV did not work because they had build a big house next door so that that blocked the satellite view or thats what they told me. But now I can check on this site if there is any construction going on in the hotel or if something is not as it should.
