We had this story this last Christmas about two Swedish beggars that just bum around in Phuket after a Christmas holiday. On the 24 December they were arrested and from what we understand deported but now we saw another story about Gabriella Rose-Marie Strand.

After her death of natural causes, nobody has been able to locate Mr. Lundqvist, and Phuketwan reports that he may not even be aware of the passing of his girlfriend. The Swedish authorities have however been able to find Ms. Strand’s daughter who has asked for her mother’s ashes to be brought back to Sweden. Two Swedes almost made it the Christmas Holiday in Thailand. They have been bumming around Patong in Phuket for a few weeks now.

The passports and visa of Bjorn Lennart Lundqvist, 59, and his female companion Gabriella Rose-Marie Strand, 58 had expired long time ago but that did not stop them from staying longer in Thailand.

When the Police found them they in a bad state with cut and bruises all over their bodies and off course drunk.

They swore to come back to Thailand as soon as they got some more money and got into a better state.

Before the police drove them away they said “We coming back for sure we like it here the Thai police are so good at us”
