The Thai government by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send delegates to travel and clarify the recent political unrest to many countries, according to Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya.

Speaking after meeting with US Senator, James Henry Webb, on Wednesday, the minister announced the clarification letter and delegates for the mission and said that Thai Trade Representative (TTR), Kiat Sitthi-amorn, would be the leader of the trip.

Regarding the meeting with the US senator, Mr Kasit pledged with the US senator that Thailand would follow the reconciliation roadmap of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, appoint an independent committee to investigate all related incidents, and rehabilitate those affected from the unrest.

The minister elaborated that Mr Webb expressed his interest with the situation in Thailand and would bring all the information gathered from the discussion with him to mull over among subcommittees of the US accordingly.
