The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is welcoming Chinese New Year with the “Music on the Train” campaign aimed at promoting train traveling in the southern provinces of Trang and Satun.

The Director of the TAT Trang Office announced that a tourism campaign entitled “Music on the Train” would be launched during February 3-7 as part of the Chinese New Year celebrations. Implemented in cooperation with the private sector, the objective of the project is to stimulate tourism in Trang and Satun provinces, particularly traveling by train which is convenient, cost-saving and safe.

The campaign will give travelers a chance to witness the natural beauty of the two Andaman coastal provinces with a one-day boat trip to renowned islands, such as Ko Kradan, Ko Chueak and Ko Ma. Chinese New Year vacationers will also have a taste of local food and enjoy shopping for local products at Wat Tha Chin Floating Market.
