United Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD) co-leader Nattawut Saikua is suspected to have ordered arson in the capital.

CRES this morning has publicly exposed a VDO clip of Mr Nattawut's speech against the government and the military. The VDO clip was recorded in January 2010 as the rally marched to the President of the Privy Council General Prem Tinsulanonda’s residence in Chanthaburi.

Based on the VDO clip, Mr Nattawut urged his followers to burn down the country if poilitical crackdowns by the military was imminent. He also offered himself as the one responsible for the arson attacks by UDD rioters.

Mr Arisman advised those who were unable to travel to the capital to burn down their city halls instead. They were urged to deflate all cars' tires to prevent the authorities’ crackdown and to seize officers’ weapons as theirs.

UDD rioters have set fire to a total of 31 spots in Bangkok since yesterday afternoon such as Central World, Center One Shopping Mall, Centara Grand Hotel, Grand Diamond Panthip, Metropolitan Electricity Authority in Klong Toey, Maleenont Tower, Stock Exchange of Thailand and several important venues.
