BANGKOK, 19 May 2010 (NNT) - The BTS Skytrain and the MRT subway will remain closed tomorrow for security reason amidst the ongoing political violence around the capital.

According to the Bangkok Mass Transit System (BTS), the skytrain services at all stations will stay closed tomorrow due to scattering vandalism attacks throughout Bangkok following the anti-government protesters’ dispersal from Ratchaprasong Intersection.

In parallel, Bangkok Metro Plc (BMCL) also announced that all services of the MRT subway would be suspended for another day tomorrow to ensure safety for passengers and staff. The company will closely assess the situation and will keep commuters updated.
