SET to close on 20 May, stock trading suspended
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has announced the closure of business operations tomorrow in the midst of ongoing political unrest in Bangkok.

SET President Patareeya Benjapolchai disclosed today that the SET’s decision to temporarily halt the stock trading for tomorrow was due to the constantly intense political situation in the capital. The SET also announced the cancellation of all planned activities and services scheduled for 20-21 May 2010 at SET Building located on Ratchadapisek Road.

The SET committee will closely evaluate the situation and will make further announcement to the public upon any changes or updates.
