MOUNTAIN VIEW: -- Google began the roll-out of its re-designed homepage Thursday in a move made to standardize the way in which users communicate with its services across smartphones, tablets and Computers.

The revamp of the most famous webpage on the web decreases the amount of alternatives users will see instantly and requires them to click on a Google Plus tab, or an Apps tab to get into most of the company's services.

The well-known search box remains to be primarily unchanged but Google did alter the colours and covering of its logo.

In accordance with a blog posting by Google manager Eddie Kessler, the re-designed webpage will be rolled out to all Google end users all over the world over the next couple weeks.

"Obtaining around Google should be effortless, and when you are inside an app, you don't want any interruptions
