Roast Pork Festival has been organized in Trang to celebrate the province's signature recipe and promote tourism.

The 24th Roast Pork Festival has been held in Trang. It is an annual tradition held every year at the province’s town center, with a vibrant atmosphere and various stage and parade performances. The event attracted more than 1500 visitors. The main attraction was the reasonably priced roast pork cooked with variations of the traditional Trang recipe for barbecued pork.

The traditional event kicked off with an opening ceremony attended by Mr. Jurapong Ruansuwan (จารุพงศ์ เรืองสุวรรณ), Minister of Interior, Mr. Somsak Purisrisak (สมศักดิ์ ภูรีศรีศักดิ์), Minister of Tourism and Sports, several high-ranking officials, local businessmen, and students. At the event Mr.Jurapong said the robust taste of the pork and its crispy skin have built a reputation for Trang as having a signature recipe for the dish.
