Wongwien Yai to Tak Sin Skywalk Is Now Open

The Skywalk that links Wongwien Yai and Tak Sin BTS train stations is now open for the public.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has announced the good news to the public. The Skywalk measures 425 meters, do not just link the 2 BTS stations but this also provides access to other means of public transportation. In addition, motorists can also use the venue to make a U-turn.

The structure has been installed with adequate lighting and CCTV cameras for safety measures. The 3,500 square meter area below the Skywalk was developed as a public park, encouraging locals to exercise or to use it for other recreational purposes. The project cost 120 million Baht, citing it is part of the BMA's 6 policies to make Bangkok one of the happiest and the greenest cities in the world.
