All of the seven districts in the Southern Province of Satun were declared disaster zones hit by flooding.

The flood affected more than 9,200 houses and the local authorities are surveying the damages. The rains are continuous in the province and the situation in the Langu district is worrisome. There have been flash floods flowing directly into the Langu canal and the high tides have deluged the rubber and palm plantations. Some of the roads are impossible to pass but the army deployed personnel and equipment to divert the floodwaters.
