Thai Man to Death by Elephant Stomps

An elephant has stomped a man to death near the venue of a Buddhist ceremony.

Before the incident, an unidentified man climbed onto a tree. The man was ordered to climb down by police, he jumped onto the ground and began playing with one of the elephants.

The elephant then grabbed the man with his trunk and hurled him on to the ground before stomping on his body. The man was taken to hospital where he died.

Working elephants in Thailand are typically used for tasks such as logging, but a growing number are used as tourist attractions on the streets of Bangkok and at camps around the country.

It sounds like he was high or something. I hope they let the elephant live.
