Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group unveiled a US$7 million global advertising campaign to promote its newest brand Radisson Blu worldwide.

The group announced it will expand the brand to two more properties in Thailand by 2015.

A Turning the World Blu campaign aims to put the brand on the map by 2015, a tall order considering the oversupply of brands that vie for attention.

The next properties are due to open in Bangkok and Hua Hin in 2013 and again in 2015.

The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Bangkok on Sukhumvit 27 will have 290 rooms, while the Radisson Blu Resort Hua Hin will have 118 rooms at a site very close to the resort’s airport.
