View Full Version : AOT to Build More Passenger Terminals in Suvarnabhumi Airport Bangkok

Airport of Thailand (AOT) Director Mr. Theerapol Noprampa has proposed to increase the service capacity at Suwannabhumi Airport to accommodate the growing number of passengers.

Mr. Theerapol said according to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), it is possible to increase the services within the airport. More passenger terminals are expected to be built and will cost around 9.1 billion THB.

They are said to be able to accommodate 20 million domestic passengers and 45 million international visitors per year. Mr. Theerapol has nominated AOT President Mr. Anirut Thanomkulbutra to oversee the entire process. The matter will be proposed to the Finance Ministry for consideration before a contract is signed. The construction will begin in September.
