The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has confirmed readiness of the Airport Rail Link’s check-in system at Makkasan Station, which will be in full operation tomorrow.

According to the SRT, the Bangkok City Air Terminal (BCAT) at Makkasan Station of the Airport Rail Link is now fully prepared for the launch of the round-the-clock check-in service and transport of luggage to Suvarnabhumi Airport on January 4. However, only passengers of Thai Airways and Bangkok Airways will be able to use the service, and they are recommended to do their check-in between 3-13 hours in advance of their boarding time.

New ticket prices for the Airport Rail Link will also take effect on the same day. The Express Line will cost 150 baht per trip, increasing from the initial 100 baht, with the traveling time of only 15 minutes between Makkasan Station and Suvarnabhumi Airport. The new fare of the City Line will range between 15-45 baht, depending on the distance.

The airport train arrives at each station every 15 minutes and operates from 6 am to midnight daily. Passengers can also transfer to the BTS Skytrain at Phayathai Station and to the MRT subway at Makkasan Station.
